We want to see you at MarTech 2017!

If you want to be on the cutting edge of marketing technology, this spring’s upcoming conference at the City by the Bay brings experts from across the field together under one roof for three days of special events. Some of the biggest names in the marketing industry will share their insight into the latest innovations in technology at the upcoming MarTech 2017, running May 9 through 11 in San Francisco.

We’re sending our reps to Martech 2017  (Booth #413!) to demonstrate the power of Intent Monitoring and participate in the conference – which also includes more than 60 different educational sessions, expert guest speakers and networking opportunities.

Guest speakers

The three-day event kicks off with opening keynote speaker Mayur Gupta, vice president of Growth & Marketing at Spotify, Inc., who will address the marriage of creativity and technology with “Mapping the Boundaries Between Marketing Art & Science.”

Other keynote addresses include event curator Scott Brinker and Anand Thaker, who will break down “The State of Marketing Technology” for listeners; Meagan Eisenberg Ryan Schwartz from the database program MondoDB, who will share “Secrets to a Great Partnership Between a CMO and a Head of Martech”; Tom Fishburne, who fused marketing and cartoonist careers and will present “The Best Marketing Doesn’t Feel Like Marketing: Adopting a Marketing Mindset for the Modern Digital World”; Sheldon Monteiro from the Publicis Groupe agency SapientRazorfish, who will present “Graduating as a Chief Marketing Technologist” and Harvard University’s Project VRM head Doc Searls, who will bring keynotes to a close with “When the Customer Becomes the First Party.”

In addition to keynote speakers, the diverse group of guest speakers who are part of this year’s innovative lineup include Scott Harris of Adobe, Jason Heller of the management consultant firm McKinsey & Company, Gaurav Bhatia of AARP, Vance Faulks from the software company SAP, Matt Marolda of Legendary Entertainment, Pandora’s Lisa Sullivan-Cross, Anita Brearton from the marketing platform CabinetM, Christopher Penn from the data-driven PR agency SHIFT Communications, Meghan Ryan of the San Francisco 49ers and Campbell Soup Company’s Marci Raible, among many others.

They will share stories, offer insight into analytics and address the timeliest topics in marketing technology as part of the event, which showcases how technology has transformed both marketing and sales.

The details

Aimed at industry insiders, the conference is designed to help marketers learn how to use that technology to improve customer experience in myriad ways, which could include using big data to find the consumers most likely to purchase your product or service, allowing for more personalized (and therefore more successful) marketing. Big data analysis could also help companies create more innovative products that focus on customer needs, revealed through impressions.

With so many unique educational marketing opportunities, marketers will leave with the tools they need to improve customer service, including more knowledge about the right marketing strategies and martech innovations for their organization, no matter how big or how small.

The event’s programming has been carefully curated by conference chair (and keynote speaker) Scott Brinker, who has been on the cutting edge of marketing technology since 2008. The author of the book “Hacking Marketing,” which helps CMOs learn how to navigate their departments in a software-driven world, Brinker also created the complex Marketing Technology Landscape Supergraphic, an industry reference updated annually that categorizes vendors in the marketing field.
