What Experts Think about AI in B2B Marketing

What do the AI experts think about AI in B2B marketing? The True Influence Spring Summit assembles some of the best minds in artificial intelligence (AI) to answer that question and more. Attendees (like you? Register here.) will benefit from straight advice and honest takes on what AI brings to B2B marketing today.

Practical Uses of AI in B2B Marketing: Panel Discussion + Live Q&A

Here’s the caliber of expertise you can look forward to on April 14 at the Summit.

Jaime Perena, Microsoft, Director of Marketing & Strategy, Enterprise AI

AI is disrupting how marketers work across many industries, and Microsoft is at the forefront of adding more AI value to business. With his background in bringing innovation to market, Jaime Perena is perfectly positioned to lead AI programs.

He has a track record of translating business ideas like AI applications into revenue growth. At Microsoft, he leads the AI go-to-market initiative across the enterprise, including strategy and execution. In his interaction with the Summit panel, you’ll get a sense of how he manages complex situations and pioneers new market and product initiatives.

AI is changing how business works across all industries. Recognizing that, Microsoft created the AI Business School to share insights and practical guidance from top executives on how to strategically apply AI. (We at True Influence share this philosophy of learning and growth, as evidenced by our Summit series.)

Jaime is a strong advocate for the Microsoft AI Business School, which was created to help executives learn how AI is changing how business works across all industries. Topics covered in their programs include:

  • Defining an AI strategy
  • Enable an AI-ready culture
  • Responsible AI in business
  • AI technology for business leaders

You’ll also see many of these topics covered in the Summit agenda. And as if his role at Microsoft wasn’t impressive enough, that isn’t his first rodeo. Jaime also founded, grew and sold a 75-person, $7M company.

John C. Havens – IEEE Standards Association

Where to start? Besides credentials as a professional actor and PR professional, John C. Havens has also managed to fit a full complement of AI advocacy into his career.

John’s written for Mashable and The Guardian and is author of:

  • Heartificial Intelligence: Embracing Our Humanity To Maximize Machines
  • Hacking Happiness: Why Your Personal Data Counts and How Tracking it Can Change the World

His work focuses on “humanity’s connection with Artificial Intelligence (AI) today as well as in the future.” He asks provocative questions like: “How will machines know what we value if we don’t know ourselves?”

As Founder and Executive Director of the IEEE Global Initiative on Ethics of Autonomous and Intelligent Systems, John helps drive the strategic vision. He helps promote the goal of “every technologist educated, trained, and empowered to prioritize ethical considerations in design and development of autonomous and intelligent systems.”

Initiative deliverables include a document on Ethically Aligned Artificial Intelligence. There are also recommendations for standards to help technologists use ethical methodologies that increase innovation and human well-being.

Laurence Moroney – AI Lead and Advocate at Google

As Lead Artificial Intelligence Advocate at Google, Laurence Moroney is an important part of the Google Research into Machine Intelligence (RMI) team. But his work doesn’t stop there, not by a long shot. His other accomplishments include:

  • Author of more programming books than he can count, including “AI and Machine Learning for Coders”
  • Creator/instructor: TensorFlow In Practice, TensorFlow Data and Deployment specializations on Coursera
  • Managing TensorFlow YouTube channel
  • TensorFlow certificate program for developers at tensorflow.org/certificate

His vision is to make AI easy for developers and broaden access to ML careers. When not working with technology, Laurence is an active member of the Science Fiction Writers of America, and has authored several sci-fi novels, and comics books, and a produced screenplay. He’s based in Washington State, where he drinks way too much coffee.
